I'm applying to MHC, but I'm applying RD. This is my #2 school (though, considering upenn is my #1 and is a total reach, MCH is basically my #1) and I was just wondering for those of you who are applying ED, or even RD, why you chose MHC?

For myself, I chose MHC largely because of the campus and the equestrian center. Yea, I know, seems kind of random, lol, but I figure if I can't have the language center at penn (I'm a foreign language major), I'll have the horses at MHC lol.

I don't like this whole senior year thing and picking colleges >.< lol. Seems too many to choose from, and I question myself as to why I want to go to such-n-such college. I'm just wondering how others pick their schools~~

I completely agree with your last paragraph. I picked each of my schools for such different reasons that I'm having trouble picking a #1. They seem impossible to compare. I picked MHC for the community (all those different class things, and all that ice cream), and because there is an extraordinary number of MHC alumna among my aquaitance who are amazingly cool, like one spent last year traveling the world with her partner and their three young kids. So cool, nice, and relaxed! I figured it ahd to be the college.

Other schools (Smith, Scripps, Harvard, Macalester, Swat) were different. My sis went to swat and loved it, scripps sent me a scholarshippy thing, the profs at smith were really into what i had to say when i visited, mac because kofi annan went there, and I have many friends at harvard. All my reasons were really different, and some seem sorta superficial reading back over them, but hey, i really just want to get it over with. Good luck chibiajiajin (cool name, by the way)!

"all those different class things, and all that ice cream"

ice cream?? lol

and thx, rsquared, you have a cool name too! (tho it took me a while to figure it out lol >_<)
