Why Michigan?

I know, but I got more money from Michigan. The weather alone is starting to make me regret my decision; but then again, Berkeley has too many Asians.

I chose Michigan over Cal even though Cal would have been roughly $30,000 cheaper over 4 years. It really depends on fit.

"Lol yeah, I actually chose Michigan over Cal because they gave me more money. It's my first year at UM and I already despise the weather. Go figure -_-"

You haven't seen anything yet. Just wait untill january and february.

Yeah, residents have told me about the melancholy weeks in January when the snow blankets everything like a pale sheet covers a lifeless body and the dull, gray sky looks down over everyone as they slowly trudge through the snow to go and come from class like mindless drones or lost spectres wandering aimlessly for all eternity. All the while, the air is filled with emptyness while the only audible sounds are the occasional faint cries of the wind trying to escape the bleak nothingness that is Ann Arbor.

You must be majoring in English or something. That was marvelous imagery.

It look like you're into PoliSci, actually.

Hehe thanks, I'm planning on majoring in PoliSci.

i don't think there's enough asians here at michigan.
there are WAY too many international students though -_-

lol yeah and almost all the East Asians I've met are in engineering or sciences and maybe economics. I think I know like 4 that are majoring in the humanities.

Poli sci and Math.

ah ok. But I remember seeing you on facebook and you had like seven 300 level courses listed. Strange...

most of the asians i've met major in the sciences for pre-med, pre-dental, etc.
the b-school rejects major in economics.

Forgiven, your assessment of Econ majors is incorrect. I'd say the majority of Econ majors were intent on majoring in Economics before they ever set foot on Michigan's campus. I am sure many Business school rejects also major in Econ, but they only make up a minority of the total Econ population.

ohhhh. yeah, my assessment is probably incorrect, cuz i'm just basing it on my friends.. haha.

Forgiven said that b-school rejects major in econ, not that econ majors were b-school rejects.

Good point.

Math 295 - 4
Polsci 306 - 3
Polsci 391 - 3
Polsci 317 - 3
English 483 -1

Wow. those are pretty high level courses for a freshman.
