Why no email?

It's very curious that more and more colleges are using email to send decisions, but Mudd is revolting against that trend.

Just why would they do that? What would be the benefit?

Stay classy, California.

As irritating as it is to still have received no word, 3 and a half days later, there’s something more… sincere, real, genuine, and generally meaningful about receiving an actual letter in the mail that isn’t yet another junk letter from the University of Evansville who just won’t stop sending me crap.

I guess that’s what the college think. In my mind, they’re just the same

lol… I keep getting stuff from pepperdine. I feel your pain.

Naw, I like the whole hard copy letter deal too. I was trying to hint at basically what firstdude said in my first post haha.

Okay, I wasn’t quite sure which direction you had been going (sincere or semi-sarcastic). :)

Maruhan, I firmly believe it is because they know that the students who apply to Mudd would hack the email system. :)

^^^motherofperl, I think you are spot-on. Caltech did snail mail til recently, too. (S1 got snail mail two years ago.)
