"Why Northwestern" Essay

<p>If anyone here has a friend/sibling or something who has gotten into Northwestern, I've got a couple questions about the application.</p>

<p>How long should the "why northwestern" essay be? </p>

<p>Is it a full essay (600 words ish) or are we talking a couple paragraphs?</p>

<p>my advice is to write your essay and see how long it is. If it's over 600 consider cutting it down. If it's less than 250 consider lengthening it.</p>

<p>i'd assume it's a normal 500-word essay</p>

<p>mine's about 525 words</p>
