Why not add Bryant University to College Confidential??

Why not add Bryant University to College Confidential?? Do you think this is overdue??

any thoughts?

@turtleneck7, thanks for the suggestion! We’ve discussed it with the mods and concluded that for the moment there isn’t enough activity around the school to support creating a new Bryant University forum. However, please continue posting in the College Search & Selection forum below if your school’s forum is not listed:

There isn’t enough activity because there is no board!

If you build it, they will come. Check your facts. Bryant (not Bryan) is discussed often in other threads (there are hundreds of posts under college search & selection, business, parents, etc.) but is long overdue for its own board. There are separate boards for dozens of smaller and less popular schools, some of which go months without a post. It’s really an insult to the school and its many alumni, parents, and students on CC.

Agree with Chardo. If you build it, they will come. Long overdue…

I agree. My daughter applied last year and there was no info!

Where is the Bryant subforum?

Contrary to what a previous member noted, we have never found that creating a new forum actually generates activity for a school that currently has little or no discussion. “If you build it they will come” has not applied in this regard. We have tended to create school-specific forums based on existing activity on the College Search or state-specific forums. At this point, recent discussion around Bryant University continues to be relatively low (and we primarily look for thread titles containing the school name).

I feel the need to bump this question. There are at least 20 colleges with dedicated forums that have one post in 3 years, and are never–literally never–discussed on the main boards. Why do they have forums, but not Bryant?

Agree. Some of those should be closed and there should be one for Bryant.

It would be best if we could tag threads with university names - then you wouldn’t have such a need for subforums.
