Hey, CC. I have a question about what college admissions are looking for in why this college or how will you explore essay
Typically, what do you write about? specific program you are interested in? social scene?
and in what direction do you write the essay?
Should it be like (for example) I have developed particular interest in business, did these activities related to business, I like this program that you offer and would like to be part of it? tell the specifics? Is this what college’s are looking for?
The way I thought about is help them picture you on campus. What would you do? what teachers would you interact with? What courses would you take? What would you get out of being at their school?
My advice is to get as specific as possible. Research professors, find out courses you’re interested in, learn about their programs. If you could switch out College A for College B and it would still make sense, you’re not specific enough.
