Why Penn Essay

I have an idea of what i’m going to write for the essay. But can current penn students PM me their essays? Just to give me an idea what it should look like. Thanks

Not allowed young man!

why not? if you dont feel comfortable thats fine. I mean i wont plagerize or anything. if you want i could give you my stats and stuff and the first draft of my essay.

i don't think anyone should use anyone's idea for the "why penn" essay, even if they don't plagiarize at all. i think if you need ideas as to why you want to go to penn, you don't deserve to go there. :)

aw, thats not really fair! :(
i myself didnt really know what to put and i still got in

pimpthatthang: just look at the the things u like about the school (and if u dont know anything yet, find out) and write about how that makes the school a better fit for u, as well as, making u a better fit for the school. it's hard, but its possible. I came up with an idea i thought was complete crap, but it must have been good so just come up with w/e u can, it wont matter.
....but, yeah u shouldn't be looking at other people's essay b/c even though u say u wont copy, u "subconsciously" might still regurgitate someone else's ideas (not on purpose, but maybe cuz u cant think of anything else...), and a college is probably more likely to like someones new, creative idea, more than something u know they already read b4. :)

because you dont like pencils?

if you can't find "good enough" reasons that you love penn, then maybe you shouldn't apply. sorry... it's the truth. you shouldn't have to mooch off of other people for their's. find reasons why penn is a great fit for you.

Yeah, I agree. it's not even that you "don't deserve to go there."

It's more just that you really should be putting more research into your decision than "Penn is an Ivy with a high US News ranking"

Wait, what am I saying? apply and make our application stats go up! :)

The best thing to do is to speak about the school's notsoapparent strong points that are unique to Penn alone.
