Pandy, well put.

my three essays were 2 pages double spaced 12pt garamond, aprox 600+ words each.

quality over quantity. its not about length.

Mine was 410 words, and it didn't quite fill up a page, so I made the margains a little bigger and made the font size 12.5. Then it filled up a page.

I did more of a:
here's you + me generally
here's you + me in this area
here's you plus me in this other area

582

just finished it today

catch, can i send u mine?

Yes eibrahim. I'll pm you my email, but I won't be able to write back until later 2morrow...I have a party to go to in about 30 minutes.

oh ok....thanks

aren't there only 2 essays??

there is why penn, essay prompt (217, 1st experience, etc..) and then some short answer ones.

hey catch, no i didn't write my love letter yet. i'm gonna write it after this round of apps are in.. whoo.. and i think i might submit replacement essays IF my common app one becomes any good.. hah.

also, man, yesterday i had 300 posts (not literally)
if someone had told me i'd be up to like 700...

can I email somebody my why penn essay also?
...i hate feelinglike a bother, but my friends are gone and were out of school so im stuck...

sure ill read it and tell u if its penn worthy... roxylax59@yahoo.com

lol shorty I keep trying to catch you on AIM you but you just sign on and off

haha ill get on now

Thank you for all of you help!

have you noticed how only the 2nd tier school require why ____ essays. It really gets annoying. They are obviously safeties for HYPS.

lol sempitern, you have a point there
basically HYPS dont need to be told they're good ;)
btw-why penn 611 words

it's just something else to write about, semp. stanford has those short answer questions. princeton has a whole new essay.
oh yeah, and penn is a "sedond tier" school. rofl, ok buddy. stanford = 5, penn=4, chief.

jeez man, you could have at least added an "i think" in front of your statements. a very good argument could be made that penn is the best school in the nation when one takes into account connections and how one does later in life.
