Why Penn?

Why should someone choose penn over schools of the same caliber? What makes it different and better than the other schools?

Getting an early start on that why penn essay?

No just wondering, I want to know why I should choose penn if i got in

So, you're trying to get a year up on admissions decision?

lalala, I think you're question is 100% legitimate. I got into 10 schools this year and I needed to find reasons not to go to schools.

I think what made me choose Penn over schools of similar caliber is that Penn is an ivy league in an awesome city unlike Duke, Dartmouth, Princeton, Yale (New Haven sucks), Brown (their "city" doesn't count), Stanford, and Amherst/Williams. Also, Penn has a really good community/campus feel with lots of grass and a huge enough campus that you feel like you're part of something special. Also, I got into Wharton and it's the best place there is for UG business.

Some things you might not like about Penn are that the Greek life is huge if you go out and there's lots more drinking and less intellectualism that I could see than other schools of similar caliber. It's a lot of kids who were overly sheltered in high school and now want to be cool and "party."

thanks for the reply, i think it is one of my top choices now
