<p>This goes not just for Florida, but for any school. Why would someone rush if they know ahead of time that they will not be pledging if they get a bid.</p>
<p>I’d most likely say food, besides that you can still meet people you click with even if you don’t join their fraternity.</p>

<p>That’s what I said, and I did not join a fraternity when I went to Cornell.</p>
<p>That was a big mistake.</p>
<p>In a fraternity, you have 40 ready made friends, and access to parties.</p>
<p>For example, my friend’s fraternity at Cornell were all invited to some sorority party at Syracuse.</p>
