Why should I choose F&M?

I just copied from another thread schools the individual trashing F&M was interested in.

Could students/parents presently at F&M comment on student life outside the classroom. I am interested in weekend socializing and the dominance of frat parties on campus. Do people get involved in intramural and club sports? Do they go to see their sports teams play? Are there F&M-sponsored events, activities and shows? I have heard that weekends revolve around frat parties and drinking… I hope this is not the case at this great school.

The F&M website notes that, “about 35 percent of the male population joins one of seven fraternities; 15 percent of the females join one of three sororities. These numbers are down significantly from the 1980s.”

That leaves an awful lot of students unaccounted for. I’ll be interested in hearing what current students have to say about how the college has addressed the needs of the non-Greek majority.
