<p>^ You beat me to posting that. I thought those comments were hilarious…and will promptly disregard them when choosing schools</p>
<p>^ Please ignore the comments on the website. Most students read the paper version of the Prince at breakfast bc its more convenient and easy, and very, very few actual Princetonians go online and leave comments. In fact, some of my friends didn’t even realize that we could comment on articles until very recently. I’m more inclined to believe that the comments are random ■■■■■■/mean people who have nothing better to do.</p>
<p>I think it’s great that we’re admitting a bigger class, and going for smarter, more qualified applicants rather than playing an admissions game. I don’t believe that this qualifies as some sort of “social engineering.” I also think grade deflation has less of an affect as the whiners on the comments make it out to be. While not beloved, Tilghman and Rapelyefaksdjf certainly aren’t hated by the majority of the student population. Etc, etc… In conclusion, I don’t think the comments represent popular Princeton opinion, and I’m sad that people would believe that something as nasty as they are might be.</p>
<p>Posts made by anonymous posters anywhere should be taken with a grain of salt. Clearly this would apply to the above link and CC as well. I simply urge the orignal poster to not pass up such a great opportunity like Princeton simply because of the works of ■■■■■■. I am extremely happy at Princeton. I love my classes, my dorm, the campus, and the friends that I’ve made in my short time here. Clearly you have excellent college options, and I feel you can be happy wherever you go. Take this post, however, as one person’s suggestion that Princeton is a great place to be.</p>
