Why so many standardized tests?

I'm so tired of taking tests, it seems like that's all I ever do. For standardized alone, theres PSAT, SAT, SAT subject tests, PLANACT, ACT, CAHSEE, CST testing, AP testing (ughhh), probably a bunch more I can't think of right now. Then there midterms, and finals, along with the constant barrage of tests and quizzes at school. What's the point of so many tests anyways?

I'm completely tested out...Who else is?

I am. I feel like my brain is about to explode. There is only so many times that you can answer the same exact question three times on 6 different tests… Seriously.

Ugh, I am as well. April and May are the worst. First STAR tests, which are a joke but waste time better spent preparing for tests that actually matter, then SATs, then AP tests. And then all the things I told myself I’d do once AP tests were over.

I’ve dubbed May “Hell Month”. I have APUSH this Friday, followed by AP Eng on Wednesday, then I have the Virginia SOLs week after that…-explodes-

And yet I only have three finals the last week of school…Pre-Calculus, Japanese, and Chinese.

Yup. May is hell. Started out today with the SAT, next two weeks are AP testing, next three weeks are IB testing, then two weeks of finals.

And on top of that I’ve got multiple research papers and projects from multiple classes.

But who am I to complain, I signed up for this stuff.

I have bio on Monday, my birthday! Nice -_-
