I got an e-mail from Tulane saying I should make use of my personal app and send it in by Jan 15, but I already sent my commonapp about 3 weeks ago and it's been downloaded and everything. So I shouldn't worry about this right? Or do they want me to submit this personal app to Tulane and it will be part of file??? I called Tulane to ask about it and someone from admissions said she'd direct my call to someone who can help, but I was sent somewhere and put on hold until an answering machine came up saying to leave my number. I did, but I know from experience that colleges don't call you back.

At this time of year there is much redundancy and overlap in both the admissions and financial aid offices. In this age of computer programs one does not know what the other is doing or has done.

What you recieved was a mass email to all those students who have indicated a prior interest in applying. Rather than screening their data base to eliminate those who already applied ... ZAP here you go.

If you have previously made contact with your regional rep at Tulane, simply email him or her thanking them for the reminder but you have already happily submitted your application and look forward to a favorable reply. Plus, if there is anything else they need, please don't hesitate to let you know.
