Okay..so why do colleges send out their acceptances in waves? is it merely just to torture us or is there really a method to their madness?

Waves? Huh?

Like my name?

Please explain.

If it's what I think you're saying, it's probably because that's when colleges usually finish reading their applications.

waves as in -- bulks of acceptances on random days throughout feb and march. Like today, a wave of USC acceptances came out. Like...WHY? and alsooo! does anyone know if UCSD sends out acceptances in waves or is it just one day and everyone knows if its Congratulations! or...not.

If colleges didn't sent their acceptances in waves, some would receive it earlier than others and it wouldn't be fair I suppose..
