<p>yes i go to NYU stern (hate it), and i did a SA last summer at MS in the financial institutions group and now i am at hedge fund in Midtown working in distressed lending.

<p>No housing! So i am a commuter. its so cliquey! ( well at least stern)...its unbelievable. Im thinking of just sticking it out because i feel like if i transfer again I would look to indecisive to banks. But i do want to consider other schools. The only good things are..... the stern name goes a long way, the very ACTIVE alumni, and all the good looking girls in Tisch lol.</p>

<p>What I want to know is how you land a summer analyst gig at MS as a Freshman. Either you're extremely connected or you're spewing BS. In your previous posts, you also claim to have interned at Carlyle, a private equity firm. Now you claim to be interning at a hedge fund specializing in distressed lending. Hmm....:rolleyes:, that doesn't sound like Carlyle.</p>

<p>Someone was asking about investment banking target schools or something and he posted Prescott's ( a member of the wallstreetoasis forums) analyst list from his stint at MS last summer. He didn't even change the formatting or grouping either (uber-target, semi-target etc) which made it very obvious. Just straight up copied someone elses post and claimed it as his own.</p>
