Hey guys!

I just got accepted to Carlson School of Business, at UMN which is great news.
But i don't feel so happy. Maybe i don't know a lot about the school. I applied because my friend recommended me. And i think i am going there next year.
I just need little more spirit.

Please tell me about why UMN is a great school and why you chose this school.

Tnx

Hi everyone,
I recently get accepted to University of Minnesota (UMN) and Texas A&M; right now, I am still waiting for University of Washington(UW) in Seattle. My intended major is computer engineering. I have lived in Seattle for almost two years and I love my experience here; therefore UW is my top favorite school on the list. However, life is not always as we want it to be;in case I get rejected by UW, which school of the other two should I go ? I have never been to Minnesota or Texas, so I am very appreciated if you guys could tell me your personal experience in those school. Any advice or suggestion will be very helpful for me at this time. Thank a lots !!!

wait, aren’t all decisions and all responses supposed to be out by now?

except UW T_T, they said they would give the responses out in late May, but up to now, they have not even reviewed my application >.<

but I’m pretty sure the deadline for U of M confirmation is May 1st and believe the answer to this topic is: Why Not UMN?

Thanks Noaveragegenius. Yes, I did the confirmation, but, does it mean I have to attend University of Minnesota anyway ?

yea lol if u payed the deposit, you gotta go. but as for why Minnesota? Take a visit to the school, and you ll immediately know why. Especially being that youre gonna be studyin business (like me =D ), youll have amazing opportunities in TC. But honeslty the school is exactly the same as the image that came to mind when i think of the word college. it’s huge, highly ranked pretty well in most areas, Big ten sports, and yea theres a place for everyone at that school.

you dont HAVE to go, but if you decide not to you forfeit your deposit.
