Why was I accepted into the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences?

Hello,
I got accepted into UMaines College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, in spite of the fact that I applied for Pre-Veterinary Sciences situated in the School of Agriculture and Food? My ranking is high in HS, my go is 3.7, my grades this year are decent, records clean, SAT average, several AP classes etc. I don’t get it. My friend got accepted into pre-vet, and is in low level classes with poor grades.

Why don’t you call them and ask?

^^^Agree. Call and ask. Nobody here can answer a question about an acceptance for a specific applicant in a specific major in a specific school.
