I got into schools such as Boston University, Northeastern, American University and I even got waitlisted at Dartmouth College.
I just don't understand. I applied early action in November, I'm hispanic (born in Colombia) and first generation. I assumed me being a minority would make them like me since they are basically in need of minorities. How fast do the majors fill up? Maybe it's that? I was going into marine biology.

When you were waitlisted, did Juniata ask you to confirm if you want to stay on the waitlist? If you did that, I am not sure how you got rejected then. Maybe financial need or something that they could not manage for you. We had the something similar at another school due to aid.
