How many words, approximately, are your Wellesley supplements? On the prompt it just says “two well-developed paragraphs”, so I’m not sure if mine is too long/too short/not detailed enough, etc.
Right now, my supplement’s 205 words for the first paragraph, and 244 words for the second paragraph - just four or five lines more than a page in TNR 12pt.
How did you write your essay, by the way? I wrote two separated paragraphs, one for each Wellesley 100 prompt I wanted to discuss, but now I’m unsure if I should try and make them more cohesive and together…
My whole Why Wellesley was around 600 words, but I think as long as you convince them why you really like Wellesley, you’re good. There are a ton of more succinct writers than me. Oh and @stellacastor, I connected the two paragraphs.
@memelover Thank you!!! I decided to do that too, it ended up working nicely I think.
Also I’m screaming at your username holy crap.
so i looked through their website and apparently the supplement is supposed to be around 500 words? But the main thing is that they don’t want rambling, so I’m guessing 600 words is fine (as opposed to 800-1000+ words)
@stellacastor Haha thanks, I thought it best summed me up as a person.
@ladyfrooti ahhh ok thank you. When they didn’t put in a word count for the supplement instructions, I was just like… “Well, here goes…”
Hi! I was just accepted ED and my essay was 315 words. I connected the two paragraphs.
