why...Why....WHY?!?!

you need a freakin job to apply for parking now?!?!?! WHYY?!?! UGHHHH!

go find a job, you lazy bum!! :P

off topic

i met you in the elevator today and you didnt remember me.

lol.

and huh? no having a job just helps with the extra points.

its not going to make a difference if i get an on campus job anyways. no way i'm getting an off campus one.

i got a permit Spring 06 with no job or anything, and i want to do that again. i guess they're just trying to limit the number of res hall permits.

No what i meant is that having a job isn't mandatory to get a permit, it's just that most people who live on campus need the off campus job to help get them the points to get a permit. Because you already get negative points for living on campus. So yeah, it's not so much about the job because you don't NEED to have a job, you just need to figure out how to get the points. Most people on campus jdo that by having a job.

But yeah, clearly a job on campus won't help much with that anyway.

VTECaddict, are you Alex?? Refresh my memory please :)

Allie, i believe they changed the policy for this quarter. i tried applying for a residence hall permit, and it wouldnt even let me submit it without having employment information. i emailed transportation and they said you HAVE to have a job before you can even apply for a residence hall permit. i know for a fact that i was able to apply without having a job for fall 06 and before.

very very strange.

indeed. you can still get commuter permits without a job, but that doesnt apply to me. :(
