Why would anyone want a MAC?

The cost of Apple hardware is cheaper than comparable Windows hardware… PC’s/Windows is much flashier, while Macs are refined and do not require an i7 and 4gigs of ram and a 4cas latency RAM just to prevent any real lag under loads lol.

Oh btw, people buying 3 series are idiots, and they’re paying for the BMW badge. Don’t compare the two, especially when the Camry is the more powerful of the two.

Linux is for people who truly know their way around a computer. I guess macs are great for the masses, and the hipsters.

hahahaa the onion

Or the people whose computers are too slow to run anything else. I have a very limited knowledge of how it works, and am barely proficient with the command-line, but I wouldn’t give Ubuntu up for anything.

To sum up what everyone else has said: If you buy a MAC you’ll pay more money for a less capable computer, but at least it will be easy to use.

Linux doesn’t require endless tinkering. Please stop repeating that it does; you’ve obviously never used it. I installed it on my laptop, it took less time than a windows install, and came with all the programs I needed and no bloatware. Only stick was the wireless card not working. Googled “Dell Vostro 1000 wireless card ubuntu” and had an answer on the first page, took less than five minutes to fix with no previous knowledge of linux.

And to someone that requested a way to run windows stuff in linux, check out WINE
