After completing two and a half years of university credits, what would be reasons to transfer to another university, or what would be reasons to stop going to college in general?
Two and a half years of college put you in your junior year.

I almost didn’t come back for senior year because of financial issues. I really think it would have been smarter to stop there and pay back some money first since coming for the second year doubled my debt, I shouldn’t have come in the first place. But my parents pretty much said they’d disown me, so here I am at school.

With only a year and a half to go and all that work from freshman year…I’d have to have some serious financial issues to stop at that point.

I’d never drop out because there’s no telling how many HOT incoming 1st year girls there would be.

Not liking the environment anymore. I would transfer if I was both academically and socially bored. I would drop out completely if I had terrible grades OR if I somehow happen to get a great job/career offer.

If I died…

When the money ran out.

financial issues

some kind of personal/family issue

realizing this isn’t what you want to do with your life and completely changing your mind about your major. Maybe taking some time off to decide?

becoming the next American Idol/becoming famous (…it happens! Of course, American Idol sucks…)

I’ll be transferring after two and a half years (well technically 3 years since I’m studying abroad this semester).

I want to pursue a career in speech therapy. My current school does not offer the major and I’m tired of juggling majors that I don’t care for.

I love my current school, but I’m just not happy there. So I’m starting what would have been my senior year at another college in the fall because they have a program in communication disorders that will open up more graduate school options for me. At worst, I will have to spend an extra semester or two. I’ll be a commuter student as well, so it will be a different experience for me!
