I know that there is no supplement, but would it be fine for me to send an additional "why washu" statement to the office to supplement my app?

thanks

It can’t hurt.

Where would you send it to?
specific email? or the general admissions office?

If you already submitted your app don’t worry about it. If you haven’t make a other version of the common app and then put it in the additional information section.

Don’t sweat out. I personally know two kids at WashU. They didn’t submit “why Wash U”.

would it be alright if I sent it after the application? because i already have the additional info filled with a resume anwyays

There are other ways to express your interest, apply for scholarships or something.

how do scholarships express interest?

if you took the time to apply for the scholarships, that shows that you actually want to go there. If someone simply added it on their common app like a lot of kids do (its easy because no supplementary essays) and isn’t that interested, then they wouldnt apply for the scholarships

Cool. thanks a lot for the explanation @christine37 it’s greatly appreciated.
