With all these stupid politicians spewing the same garbage, there needs to be a change in the whitehouse. Here are some reasons why Obama should be president:

1) He is a great compromiser, he works well with others and makes agreements
2) He wants to help americans get healthcare
3) He didnt vote for the iraq war
4) It's about time we got an african american in the white house to prove to the world we are not racist (espeically important after the bush administration)
5) He is scandal free, unlike virtually every other corrupt candidate we have.

Obama can change america, it will take us all to believe. Who is with me?

Especially after the Bush Administration?
Two African-American Secretary of States (one was the NSA), Hispanic Attorney General, Cuban Secretary of Commerce, Taiwanese Secretary of Labor, one Cuban and one African-American Secretary of HUD, an Asian Secretary of Transportation...

For the length of Bush's administration, the face of our country to the rest of the world has not been white.

Should I continue? I absolutely refuse to accept race as a reason to vote for someone. I don't disagree with your other reasons but he still needs to convince me. I find his ironic healthcare plan joyous. He wants to keep the poor alive by taxing the dead rich. That's an oversimplification but not by much and I find it very funny.

Hm...does anybody else see a problem with that? He could also say he didn't vote for Vietnam war either!

Please Bush and his propaganda crew fabricated information, started all this hype etc. The people who voted for the war shouldn't be responsible for the misleading information.

5) He is scandal free, unlike virtually every other corrupt candidate we have.

He got elected in '04, into the national scene....3 years...How long until the first scandal arises?

I don't need to address your first point...it's all opinionated.

Give me some viable reasons to vote for him...other wise I'm voting for Al Gore.

Um... yeah - he "compromises" us out of our freedoms and rights.

2) He wants to help americans get healthcare
Yeah, thats what every other politician says too - big whoop

3) He didnt vote for the iraq war
As has been said before, are you ignorant of the facts? He hasn't even been in office that long, which in itself is a reason to NOT vote for him - he has almost no political experience (kinda like Rudy... hmm...)

4) It's about time we got an african american in the white house to prove to the world we are not racist (espeically important after the bush administration)

yeah because thats exactly what it proves

I find it hard to believe that he's the one and only "saint" politician. Nice try though.

Seriously, the man is a joke - he has no national political experience, you can't get him to give a straight answer to a question, and when he does give a position on something, you find out that it is directed at taking away freedoms, etc.

Show that theres no global war on terror, and that everything is fine, yeah right we got attacked.

America Must accept defeat in the Middle east.

Raise Everybody's taxes and put the economy back into ruins.

It is a Must that we ruin one of the best health care systems in the world, by nationalizing health care.
Don't they sound smart, taking away your American freedoms. Plus they offer absolutely no proof that they can pay for there Dreamland. The countries of France, Canada and Britain's treasury are almost destroyed, and everybody from these countries is coming to America for Health Care.

How could there not be a war on terror, we just has another terrorist attack attempt at JFK airport. Bloody idiots.

I believe in freedom and common sense, Not stupidity and dreams.

If you guys did your research on Obama's healthcare plan he is really about bringing down the rates where it is affordable for everyone...etc....I can't remember his exact words from the Democratic debate. You have him confused with John Edwards with what your saying. Obama even used an example of why imposing healthcare on people won't work when he mentioned how car insurance is mandatory in California....I believe that's why it was still millions do not have it. He only felt that healthcare should be given to all children because they cannot make that choice.

Obama wants to take away our freedoms? I'm sure he's not the one that repealed Habeus Corpus. A lot of you are really misinformed on Obama. I'm not sure he's the guy.....I think Gore would be, but Barack would make a good president in my opinion.

goat, that is why he doesn't support that....do your research. Obama and all the democrats are not the same person. You sound like your arguing against Edwards.
