How do you fill this section out on the online app? Do you have to write a sentence per box? What is the limit? much help is appreciated.

Just type until they don't let you type anymore on that line, then move to the next. You can check you app to make sure that words didnt get cut off.

ok thanks...so basically it's gonna be really short than?

Grrr. This thing is infuriating! It took me forever! I had to keep moving words from line to line, and finally managed to form coherent scentences. 83 words. Definitly not enough space.

hey just to let people know...the first line only allows 50 characters while the other lines allow 75. So when i arranged my sentences..it was a pain..just a word of warning for this answer

Agh, I cannot stand how you have to write the essays and stuff. I think it is the same way for the long essay as well. What a pain.

No its not. You do it in a word processor and just upload the file. I still like Columbia better than most because the application is pretty short.

Yeah, I was really angry because somehow I counted up the number of characters available wrong and wrote a really good answer, only to learn that I had to cut half of it out. The columbia app sucks pretty bad.

........do u guys feel like the true u isnt portrayed because they limit you so much?..

I fit the true me right into the space. BirdofPrey425, distilled into about 10 short lines. Yea, Columbia shall read it, and think, 'Ye Gods!', and then accept me.

I don't know. It's just hard to be creative when you can only fit in 500 characters (less because of the line breakdown!). 500 characters is maybe ok for a list, but not if they want a eal description. I say 750 absolute minimum.
