Why?

Why all the security about the exam? Who the hell cares? It's not like they re-use the tests (or do they....). I don't get what the big deal is. So we talk and discuss and get our scores. I think that they should send us backa corrected test so we could see what we got wrong. But then they would probably charge $150 per test.

I say...
DOWN THE THE COLLEGE BOARD!

actually they do reuse the mcq part of the tests...which is why they're so stingy about people posting up tests online. isn't that sad? we're paying 80 frigen bucks for recycled questions...

it's truth we all know. cb only wants our money. ._.

so let's say an average high schooler takes three SATs, three SAT subject tests, and eight AP exams over his or her high school career.
3 SATs x $41.50=$124.50
3 SAT IIs x $8 + $18=$42 (more if you take listening tests)
8 AP exams x $80=$640... unless you're lucky and your school system pays for them. >:[
Total=$806.50

Wow, I'm paying the CB 806.50. I could have bought a better computer...

Plus late fees, service charges, and the money they take from you in the middle of the night.

Hmmm, I've fed CB at least $400...

Oh yeah, and all the times that I've had to send my scores overnight to colleges(because I accidentally forgot to report my scores...oops) but that cost like 30 each time, and I had to do it to like eight schools. So I 've paid them over a 1000!!!!!! and they don't even make up new MC questions! ARGH!!!

Also, couldn't someone sue collegeboard for holding a monopoly or something? I mean, they DOMINATE witht he SATs/APs...I don't know about the ACT but still. You live all your life with collegeboard in your face....

That's why the college testing thing should be left to the government. Getting private companies to do them simply screams of student exploitation.

I think the ACT is more prominent in the MidWest.

IB intrudes on AP territory, but not nearly as many schools offer it.

Yeah, I'd heard about a couple questions from last year's HumGeo exam, and they were on today's exam as well. I was like, damn, I should've studied that. Haha.

wow so my parents r gonna be giving CB.....
this year: 2X$85 = $170
next year: 3 or 4 X $85 = $255 or $340
senior year: 4 or 5 X $85 = $340 or $425
SAT II's: 3 or 4 X $26 = $78 or $104
SAT: $41.50

DANG!

they are suppose to be a nonprofit organization too LOL
