Why?

<a href="http://undergrad.wharton.upenn.edu/forms/handbook_2007.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://undergrad.wharton.upenn.edu/forms/handbook_2007.pdf</a></p>

on that website on page 16, it gives you the directions and necessary scores to pass out of the language requirement for Wharton. however, WHY is Chinese not listed under there. ive contacted the departments, about four people responded, all with ambiguous answers. im just wondering why that is only chinese, out of the main languages, not on that spreadsheet.

bump.. no one knows?

yea.. BUMP!

You can take a placement test when you arrive in the fall for any language and you will but put into the appropriate level. Regardless of the language 4 semesters are necessary to meet the wharton language requirement (I believe that is the case with all of the schools with the exception of engineering which does not have a language requirement.
