Thanks for any info!

Campus has wifi but it’s all protected. Many if not all of the businesses on Thayer Street have wifi, especially the coffee/tea places like Blue State (both locations), tealuxe, abp, etc.

As of last summer, brown has unsecured wifi…

I’ve been on campus many times, and one cannot use Brown’s wifi without a password.

Will students matriculating in fall receive this password?

LMAO! it’s a secret and there’s only one!

No access for students-- we spent all the money to make the campus Wifi so that the electro-magnetic radiation provides cover from Soviet Spy satellites.

Your user name/ID and password for all Brown computing services gives you access.

lol
forgive me for the rather dumb question–just making sure because a kid in my spanish class has been complaining about having to pay extra for wireless internet when he goes to college…but maybe he was talking about TV service via internet because I know that sometimes does cost more money…
