I have had a few people tell me that there is no wifi in the dorms. Do they have wifi you can use in dorm( specifically Walton) and not just Ethernet ports?

Does that mean there is wifi only in the lounge and not in the dorm itself?
All dorms should have TamuLink wifi.
All dorms do have wifi, but a lot of times the Tamulink wifi can be very spotty. It’s best to invest in an ethernet cable as well (they’re relatively cheap). Better be safe than sorry when you’re taking those online quizzes!
@Sjaggie19 yeah. I wasn’t worried about my laptop or anything because I will be buying one with an ethernet port, but I really need wifi to avoid going over the data limit on my cellphone plan
@anthonys621, You will find wifi in most of the academic buildings/classrooms as well.
