Im trying to choose between 3 schools: Montana state university, University of Utah, University of Nevada Reno, and Sierra Nevada college. Im planning to major in either Wildlife ecology and management, environmental science, or something similar. Can anyone give me a general idea of how these 3 schools rank in their programs for these majors? Which school would look better for my future? These are the only 3 schools I am looking at so please do not suggest any other school.
Take a look at https://www.environmentalscience.org/degree/fish-wildlife-management
Montana State has a wildlife major. UNR does, and seems to have better student outcomes and jobs than Montana Dtate, unless you want to work in Montana.https://www.collegefactual.com/tools/college-combat/#university-of-nevada-reno~montana-state-university
Utah has urban ecology.
Do you know how MSU compares to University of Utah for environmental programs?
I only know from looking at various websites that rank colleges that Uni. Utah is more selective in general than Montana State.
What have you learned comparing their programs? What interests you about each? What do their env sci departments or career centers say about placement of their grads?
Is your goal to go to graduate school or be employed in either Utah or Montana after your bachelors?
For ecology and environmental sci., Montana State was considered highly rated by
ecologyproject mentioning Agriculture related programs.
See college consensus site, says Montana State undergrads get to do alot of research at Yellowstone.
