If I want to become a doctor and I get a B+ in 10APPH English in 10th grade, will that affect my chances of getting into a college such as Johns Hopkins?

No! Dont worry, I had a few B+s and even C+ and got into great schools (Lehigh, Villanova etc), so dont sweat it

No problem! I got a B+ in 10th grade English and got into Penn, Georgetown, etc. I would expect it would matter even less since I assume you are going to major in a science in undergrad (though not necessarily).

Yeah.

No, cmon, look at what you’re saying - it’s ONE B+. And it’s in an AP class. And it’s APUSH. And it’s sophomore year (debatable whether this helps or hurts, but it’s a minor point).

TL;DR: Get real.

You really will not be affected by this. You have one B+. As competitive as Johns Hopkins is, it is not as competitive as an Ivy League, and one non-perfect grade won’t really do any damage at all. Don’t stress, keep getting A’s, and I guarantee that you are fine.
