will 2 C on high school report card kill my chance?

<p>Hey,</p>

<p>I want to apply to Brown, UPenn, UMich, NYU, UVA, Boston U, Boston C, Indiana-Bloomington, Berkeley, University of Washington, Penn State, and Wisonsin-Madision.</p>

<p>I have 2 C's in my freshman year. But i have A's and B's in junior and sophomore.</p>

<p>I heard that even with a high SAT, high GPA, and high everything, people with C's on the their report card won't get into the top schools i listed above because it's very competitive. is it true?</p>

<p>Just looking at my High School grades, will it be a long shot to get into UPenn, Brown, UVA, UMich, NYU? (this is under the circumstances that IF my SATs, Ecs all meet their requirements)</p>
