I already reported my previous SAT at 2360 to all the schools I am interested in. I just got my new SAT score of 2400. But a college conselor told me that a 2400 will hurt my chances for top schools since HYPs have started to brag about how many 2400s they rejected. Does any one know any facts about that? Should I be quiet on my 2400?

loll @ supernoobtroll

i will laugh at anyone who answers this seriosly

Harvard throws a party every time they rejected a 2400, sorry.

wow. are you kidding me?

How can someone smart enough to get a 2400 be dumb enough to ask this question? (Troll)

Duper, Do you know any one was rejected because of 2400, or there were other reasons?

Harvard rejects something like 67% of 2400s, I think. (Or was that 67% of valedictorians? o.O) Yes, I know multiple 2400s rejected from Harvard in real life. Obviously it's because their SAT scores were simply not up to par.

I don't think you even got a 2400.. or a 2360 for that matter :(

i think someone who got a 2400 wouldn't be dumb enough to talk like this

"Duper, Do you know any one was rejected because of 2400, or there was other reasons?"

granted, this is the internet. but u must retain some grammar skills u need to know for the writign portion

haaaaahahahahah I wish I had your scores! Be proud! Apply to Harvard. A kid at my school got accepted to Harvard from a reasonable public school in NY and listen to this-he wasn't in the top 10, I know his scores weren't 2400, though he did play football and is playing football there. I would be doing a diservice to you all if I didn't admit that he is a minority-half hispanic. It perplexes me how anyone can be admitted to Harvard without the perfect credentials though. Another girl got accepted to Harvard from my school as well based mostly upon a crew scholarship though. If they can get in, I believe you can too. You've as good a chance as any.

calm down and write an essay about how scared u were about getting 2400
maybe they'll feel sry for u and let u in LOL

no, you will never get in now. the best course of action right now is to take it again as soon as possible and be sure to answer as many possible wrong.

You might as well just give up and fail this year since there's no point trying to get into college

Colleges really like it when you fail
They hate the 2400s

what a noob.

wow...10char...good job tho

OMG you are so pathetic..... you poor poor child for getting a 2400...... GET A LIFE

Changing gears for a second, I've got a question:

I cured cancer and AIDS...think Harvard will reject me for it?

Whoever said that needs to learn to make more nuanced and accurate statements.

I seriously think this guys is joking. Who in their right mind would retake a 2360?

If Harvard rejects a lot of 2400s..won't they reject more 2390s 2380s, etc...?
You'll probably be the typical 2400 reject for asking such a question.
