I’ve decided to take AP Chem, AP USH, and AP Eng 11. I’ve been told AP was hard but I’ve taken the normal Ed chem course and I’m taking an elective known as AVID (This is basically a class to help me in other classes). So do you think these 3 classes will be TOO difficult? Mind you, I know the biggest difference is just workload but will this be too much? Will I have enough time? Any study tips? (Overall tips are welcome as well)
Acquire review books to supplement your learning and studying for the corresponding ap tests. Cliffnotes for ap english lang AMSCO for history.
It’s all about having a strategy and a few tools. We don’t know you or your particular school, etc. But in general, three is acceptable if you have been a strong student this year.
Obviously, do any summer reviews or work that is assigned by the teachers.
You could easily get the novels or books for your AP English test and read them over the summer. Leave a few sticky notes in them to remind your self of key or interesting points.
Our kids have found the school’s textbook is often not as good as an AP prep book for taking the class itself. I’d get one for Chem for sure. Probably US History too.
