Will a 33 ACT make up for a 2000ish sat?

Thread title.... I applied early decision. Everything else is just about picture perfect on my application (3.9gpa, 750 on math 2 and physics SAT II's, 8/310 rank) other than my 2020 SAT score, but I got a 33 ACT. Think that will make up for it?

I see graphs say a 33 ACT is about equivalent to a 2200 SAT score, but you never know how much a school weighs a test over another. I suppose I sort of answered my own question. :(

Yeah. A 33 is hella nice, and will offset a 2000 (which is by no means a bad score).

^ I agree. 33 is a great score.. I know this will make you feel better. My 31 offset my 1740 SAT ... yeahhhh

I also got a 33 last year and only a 2060 sat. Got admitted to aem anyway. Good luck!

Same bro, 33 ACT and like a 2010 sat (writing section kills me). I applied ED to ILR so well see what happens.

Gran. I had the exact same thing happen to me. REALLY bad test day for the SAT and got a 1740, and then got a 31 on the ACT. Wasn't my best but I'll take it over my SAT any day.

33 is a really good score.
Oh, and when applying in general, I thought it's okay to only send in one of your scores - SAT or ACT? Of course, depending on which one is better. But it seems like everyone is sending in both even if one of them is horrendous and the other is terrific. (Mainly the SATs being bad and ACT being good)

I have to send in SAT scores either way because the college of engineering needed SAT 2's

33 is awesome. Definitely send it.

I already did, my Oct 25 score, priority report, I hope they got it for early decision.

I'm talking about SAT I and the ACT. Don't you only need to send in one?

Did you even bother to read three posts up above yours?

If its not clear enough still, you cant just send subject test SAT scores for example, you have to send all SAT scores. You cant pick and choose what scores to send.

Ah, thought the SAT IIs were a whole different scenario than SAT Is.
