Will a B in Honors English hurt my chances?

I'm a sophmore right now and this year I'm taking the hardest classes possible. The thing is, my English teacher is the most strict, vocab-freak in the whole school.
We've only written ONE essay so far this whole year, couple of grammar exercises, and vocabulary every week. Did I mention her "famous" vocab quizzes are nearly impossible to get an A on and it takes up the majority of each marking period's grade?
Based on my grades for the last three marking periods and mid-term, I'm pretty sure my final grade in that class will be a B- or a B. Will that hurt my chances in getting into an Ivy?

Yes. You seriously need to think about which community college to attend and lease that Volvo.

NONONO.

Yes, yes it would. Getting a B- in sophomore English is the equivalence of killing your parents and then sell their flesh to the Butcher. I'm surprise the FBI hasn't take you, you sick bad-vocab taker.

Rank is the most important factor at most top colleges. It will only hurt you in general if others got an A.

get the F*** off this goddamn website!

YOU WILL DIE.

That B is reason enough to just stop trying. I would recommend culinary school. I don't think you have to spell what you cook on the menu.

I guess the responses in this thread answer your question?

Um hi, can I have a Quarter-Pounder with cheese? Oh yes, super-size that would you, please?

I predict “would you like fries with that?” in your future.

Get ready to shelve deodorant forever and ever.

Obviously…

Since the original post was in 2007 I think the OP’s future is already set.
