It’s not senioritis, I swear. Basically, this year I’m taking 5 AP class plus a college level microeconomics class. I’m getting A’s and B’s in all of them except AP Calculus. No matter how hard i try, I can’t seem to do well. i’m gonna end up getting either 2 D’s or a D and an F. My Final grade in the class should be a C, but it could drop to a D. I’m I in danger?
Normally, a college will take back their acceptance if a student fails a subject. However, since AP Calc is a difficult class, I’m not so sure. I would definitely ask your college counselor on this.
Ds and Fs are danger area. Call the college.
Please call them and talk to your counselor. Don’t get too stressed about it though - just do your best.
Even if I get an F in the final marking period I believe my final grade will be a C. Is this gonna be a huge issue.
Bump
Yes. Because you insist on asking anonymous people that have no link to Penn State, instead of contacting the school or working with your GC as you have been repeatedly advised. It really goes to maturity and the readiness to accept adult responsibilities. Regardless of what actually happens with your acceptance, if you aren’t able to face up to problems in the way expected of adults it is going to be a huge issue that will dog you thru college and beyond.
You posted this exact question over a month ago. I guess asking for advice makes you feel better about this. Many students would choose instead to take the lead here, finding out from Penn State if it is going to affect them and if it is then if there is something they can do such as summer school to keep their admission. You choose, instead, to keep your fingers crossed and hope that when they see your final grade in July it all turns out ok. I hope this works out for you.
You posted this same question a month ago? I would venture you received the same advice. Have you spoken with your GC yet???
