will a c end me?

Hi I am currently studying economics at CU Boulder and was just wondering if a C in an elective class would hurt my chances at graduate school. Right now I am getting an A in economics and writing and a b in calculus

Your cum GPA is important…how important depends on the tier of your grad program. Virtually all programs will want to see excellent grades in Econ & Math. The top programs will also want to see a virtually perfect Quant score on the GRE’s.

It shall be your undoing, the very cause of your untimely demise. It shall end not only your physical being, but any evidence of your previous existence.

Or what TheDad said.

Cosign the Dad.

Don’t worry. I had an F on my transcript, and I still got into Columbia, UCLA, Brown, Wisconsin for math (phD).

One C is not the end of the world, even though I know it feels like it. I got two C+'s in my upper-division engineering classes, and I thought I was done. I ended up getting into every masters program I applied to, including Georgia Tech (without funding, however).

Thanks for the answers. I am feeling cautious and optimistic.
