I'm a sophomore at Yale and have an A/A- average in my majors (history and English). I'm currently taking a computer science class to fulfill the quantitative reasoning requirement and after getting the midterm back today, I think the best I can hope for in the course is a C+. Is this going to totally ruin my chances at top tier law schools? How much should I be panicking right now?

Your gpa in your major matters not one iota. It's your overall gpa that counts. One c+ out of 36 courses isn't going to kill you. That said, a B- would look better, so try.

Wise words above. A modifier: try hard.
