As a High School student, I take five honors classes, and my grades are usually as follows: A, A, A, B+, B+/A-. Since each is honors level, it is moved up one grade, and therefore it is A+, A+, A+, A-, A-/A. However, on the report card, it is written as if I have a B+ so when colleges see my grades, they will see the B+. In the long run, will one or two B+s affect my chances of getting into very rigorous colleges?

Lol. I have a ton of B’s. I wasn’t rejected anywhere, and I only applied to very selective colleges.
But I mean, of course it will affect your chances. Everything affects your chances. Will it have an effect large enough to wring your hands over? Not at all.

I hear that plenty of kids with a couple of Bs or B+s get into top colleges, so I wouldn’t worry about it that much. I mean, I’d try to bump it up to a 4.0, but it probably won’t matter that much in the long run.

this depends on many factors - what is your school type? is it an academically rigorous school? what does a b+ actually translate into? Are you an URM? etc. etc.

Also, what sort of “rigorous” colleges do you mean?

They will cut it. If your school is decently difficult, there will be few, if any, people who will have gotten straight As through their entire high school career. A few B+ won’t hurt you especially in honors/AP classes.
