My sat is 2250 my act is 34. I have had all A’s and A+'s throughout my entire four years of high school, but I just got a B+ in AP Calculus BC and AP English literature. Will this look bad on my application and result in the admissions committe thinking that I’m slacking this year? All of my other classes this year are AP and I’m getting A’s and A+'s in all of those, just the two B+'s I mentioned above. Will these B’s hurt my chances of getting in?
Yes, withdraw your application right now. it’s not even worth your time to apply anymore.
I doubt it. B+ is not a bad grade anyway, and it’s only a semester grade (I assume). I think with the mid quarter grades, the colleges just want to see that you’re not slacking off.
It’s my second quarter grade in those classes. First quarter I got A’s in both

@scottccoct The B’s will definitely not help you, but having two B’s does not result in automatic rejection at any school.
