I have a 3.9 GPA. But, my only B's and one C were in pre-med classes.

I got A's in Bio 1 and 2, Chem 1 and 2, Calc, Stats, English, and all my labs.

I got B's in Organic 1, Physics 1 and Physics 2.

I got a C+ in Organic 2.

I have all A's in every other class I have taken and I've completed roughly 100 credits. I also have 200 hours of patient contact working in a hospital as a volunteer, research experience (might get published before I apply), and 100 hours shadowing doctors. I also tutored for a year and I am an active member in two school clubs. I like to be busy.

I'm just worried about all my B's.You cannot retake B's at my school. I just think it looks bad.

Will my GPA, and lots of extracurriculars make up for it?

4th year MSTP student with a C in orgo 1 and Bs in orgo 2 and physics 2.

MCAT score? My practices are around 30 but I have the whole summer to study.

Also, I’m a psychology major (chem minor/philosophy minor). I know I could ace some bio and neuro courses if I took them. Should I take them to prove I’m not bad at science or just let my MCAT prove it? I bet I could get it up a few points. I swear I picked the worst professors for ochem and physics (no curve, etc.)

36, yes, get the As in bio and neuro.

What is your BCMP GPA? That seems to be an issue. You need to beef that up.

you look good by my assessment. Apply widely.

…in regard to ECs, though, nothing spectacular, just like everybody else…but you do not need to be “spectacular” or “stand out” really. “Average” ECs are just fine.
Nail MCAT!!! Take lots of upper Bio, it will help with the MCAT
