will a lack of a third strong SAT 2 kill my chances

I'm really worried about this. I have excellent scores, grades, and extracurriculars minus the last "all important" SAT 2. Will this seriously hurt my chances?

GPA: 3.79 UW/ 4.63 W --- top 3.5%

SAT 1: 800 M, 800 W, 750 CR ---(1550/2350)
ACT: 36 S, 34 M, 33 W, 33 R --- (34 Composite)

SAT II- 770 Math II, 730 USH, 660 Physics, 690 Math I

AP: 5 Physics B, 5 English Lang, 4 Chemistry, 4 United States History

taking AP Bio, AP Psych, AP Macro Econ, AP Calc AB, AP Lit, AP Government
right now

ECs: Multiple awards at high level national debate tournaments... I feel saying any more would disclose my identity.

some more generic stuff.

If I were you, I’d worry more about the GPA. Question is whether it is counterbalanced by debate awards.

The GPA is IMO already offset by the rank. If a 3.79 is good enough for top 3.5% at the poster’s school, that gives some sort of indication of its academic rigor.

I won’t speak to your specific situation, but I’ll remind onlookers that the January tests are timely for current applicants

http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/utilities/electronic_resources/viewbook/Rollo0809_GuideApplying.pdf</a>

and wish you all good luck. Harvard considers your best scores. Harvard considers a lot more besides test scores. Harvard has plenty of applicants, so of course I hope all of this year’s applicants to Harvard have already applied to a suitable safety college, a college they’d be happy to attend if admitted. Good luck to all of you.
