Will a low AP test score get you rescinded from UCD?

Wonderin’ if a low AP Test score can get you rescinded from UC davis?
anyone know?

For freshmen admits.

I highly doubt it. You are not required to send your AP scores to the college anyways.

heck no… ap tests are totally optional, its like extra credit… do well (3+) then you may qualify for not taking certain classes…

but i told UCD i will be taking it…
if i change any testing, i also need to notify them…
So that means I must take it?

No you don’t need take the AP or notify UCD. It is completely optional on your part.

where did you get this from? During my last year in high school, I failed two APs out of the three I took (and yes, senioritis hit me hard. I actually scored a “1” on one of them). UCD didn’t care.

failing, or not even taking AP tests will in no way hurt your admission to davis. just keep your grades up and thats all that matters.

The scores you receive on AP exams have no part in the admissions process or decision. They are only considered after you have been admitted to issue appropriate units to your record. The only exception is if you have used your AP exam scores to satisfy an “a-g” requirement such as scoring a 4 on the AP French exam to satisfy the “e” Language other than English requirement. Then we would need the score to verify eligibility.
