For those top50 colleges, will the AO notice my Jan SAT and take it into consideration before decision released? I find that most of colleges’ decision will be released around the end of March but is the Jan score useful or the AO will just ignore it??? Please help!!! I’m so worried about it.
I mean the 2016 JAN SAT
^:)^ pliss help
Some do, some don’t. Check on the websites of the unis u are applying to.
I mean those of which will release the notification around the end of March to the beginning of the April. They seemed didn’t post anything about Jan SAT… I can’t find anything on their websites
It differs among the colleges even though they release decisons in March or April. Many, like the ivies, will consider Jan scores if they arrive in time (which they will if you designate the college in your test registration as one to automatically receive scores upon release, which results in the fastest form of delivery). Many like Stanford require all testing to be completed by December, i.e., the fact you may be able to get the Jan scores to the college before March does not change the consideration. Some are more in between in that they require generally that testing be completed by December, and scores for the December or an earlier test must be submitted to have a valid application, but add that the January test may be considered if if it arrives before a decision has been made as to you (the fact that the school has a March or April release date does not preclude that the decisions as to many applicants may be made beginning in January or early Feb
Check each college for its rules on last test accepted. You can usually find them by searching for applicaiion deadlines or SAT ACT Tests. If you are unable to determine whether you can send the January score from the college’s site, you can either contact the college and ask or just send the scores on the possibility they may be considered.
