Will admissions independently search for my business?

Hi,
If I run an online store, and listing it as my first activity, will admissions search google/social media for the company? It’s not illegitimate by any means, and I didn’t exaggerate any details, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it or not to attach an external resume just to redirect them to the business. I also know adcoms are on a limited time frame, so searching for it independently may not be something they care about; I’m guessing that they take the applicants word that it’s legit, and ask for more info if it comes down to it. I have some stats about it on the common app. From what I’ve seen, even for people who listed their website/business, and sent the link, didn’t get it looked at (which is visible through Google Analytics).

It is more professional for you to give them the link than just the name. If they want to, they will click through to it.

If I do give the link, however, I would need to attach an external resume just for that. Worth it or no?

You can on the additional info in the common app writing section

I would include the link somewhere in your application. It’s better to err on the side of making it easy for the AOs to follow up.

I’ll add it in, thanks!
