Will Admissions officers think i'm lying?

Hi, apparently my counsellor forgot to mention in her rec (and i've mailed it off already) that I'm president of this club at my school, if i include this activity in my EC section of the application, will an admissions officer think i'm lying??

Also, i sent my counsellor reports, transcripts, teacher recs... a week and a half ago, how long does it usually take for schools to process materials this time of year?

Why does the counselor have to mention it...? I believe all of that is self-reported.

Well, counsellors including mine, typically ask for resumes/activity sheets that list your ECs so they have something to write about in your consellorrs report.

So if my other ECs are written about in my counsellors report, and there are other things in my application that hasn't been mentioned by my counsellor, will i be in trouble?

No they won't think your lieing because there are many counselors who won't mention your EC's.

I actually prefer the counselor not mentioning my ECs and focusing on something else, because my personal statement was already about my main ECs. Don't wanna get repetitive and waste an opportunity to say something that hasn't been said already.

It should not be a problem...you're fine.

And, while the colleges probably got your stuff, they may not have sorted it, so you might have to wait a few weeks to get confirmation.

ok great, thanks everyone!

they definitely won't expect the counselor to mention all your EC's!
