According to the two UC's that have released decisions so far they were not supposed to be released until April 1st but for whatever reason they decided to release them about a month early.

My question is do you think that any of the other UC's are likely to release some or all decisions early or do you think they will stick to their release dates that they do every year??

Which one besides Riverside posted? And by the way, I saw a list. Many are notifying mid-march. My daughter applied to all and just got an email today that Santa Cruz is releasing notifications online starting March 17-through end of April. Each school has their own deadlines.

@lindyk8 - UC Irvine sent out notifications of acceptance today.
All UC’s were saying on their websites that none were sending out admissions decisions until mid-March or April, but for whatever reason these 2 UC’s decided to send them out early, that’s why I posted this thread to see if anyone thinks any others will follow this trend.

I wouldn’t count on it. It’s best to presume that the other UCs will release admissions decisions when they say they will until they say or do otherwise.

@Cayton - Hope for the best but expect the worst?

As of yesterday UCI Wasn’t scheduled to send them out until at least a few more weeks but they just decided to send them out, same with UCR I’m kind of lost as to how or why they just up and did that lol but okay

@smltk1505h exactly the posts i had read, so it looks like theyve done this in the past wouldnt be suprised if no one hears again from UCI till april

@matt4200 ucr was scheduled for march 1, and just ended up releasing it a day early for some reason.

Probably cause March 1 is a Saturday and presumably no one is working in the admissions office on Saturday and they don’t want to deal with setting up some timed admission notification setup.
