will any students from NJ or NY come back home in Thanksgive?

I am a mom of freshman. my daughter plan to come back. where or when should she buy a ticket for the bus to NYC?

or are there any students who will took train? I do not want she take train by herself.

Thanks

If I am not mistaken, SA will charter a bus to NYC on Wednesday.

yes they just sent email to stuudent today. thanks

My son waited too late last year and the bus was sold out. He wound up taking an Amtrak train from White River Junction to Penn Station but I think it took about 9 hours. I hope he takes the bus this year.

I'm probably going to just grab the bus to Boston then to Chinatown with a bunch of friends, depending on whether I can save time and money.

I agree with momofrower, if your D is planing on taking the SA sponsored bus back to NYC, act immediately because the bus sells out fast.

I agree with sneamia, that the most economical way (other than the SA sponsored bus)would be taking the Dartmouth Coach to Boston and catching the Chinatown bus to NYC (about $85) round trip.

Hope that all is having a great time at Homecoming this weekend.
